We are a looking for an a dynamic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist design and build construction firm based in Maidenhead, Berkshire with a busy order book of concurrent £3-£15m housing and commercial D&B projects.
As Quantity Surveyor, your key responsibilities will include: - Interpreting construction documentation (architectural and engineering plans, drawings and specifications).
- Applying knowledge of construction methods and materials to estimate and monitor costs, from concept design to completion.
- Managing budgets and contractual needs of construction projects.
- Conducting risk assessments and value engineering.
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Were looking for a Quantity Surveyor with: - Proven experience in quantity surveying within residential construction design and build sectors.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying.
- Outgoing, motivated, and engaging.
- Ability to own/take on responsibility with a desire to develop your career.
In return you will receive a salary of £65,000 - £75,000 plus bonuses, benefits, and career development.
